Vicky Lynn Marshall was born on 28th November, 1967. This is none other than the popular celebrity, actor and the American Sex symbol Anna Nicole Smith. The latter was her stage name through which she became popular.
Her marriage to the billionaire and oil business executive namely J. Howard Marshall was highly publicized because his age at the time of the marriage was 63. It was claimed that Anna Nicole Smith married him in order to acquire his wealth. But the same was denied by her. After he died, she started a lengthy legal battle for acquiring the share of his estate. This case became popular by the name Marshal Vs Marshal and reached the Supreme Court of United States, on a federal jurisdiction question.
Early Life:
Vicky Lynn Marshall as born in the Houston, Texas, Anna Nicole Smith was the only child of the couple Donald Eugene Hogan and Virgie Mae Tabers. After the divorce with Virgie, her father left the family. Anna was brought up by her mother and aunt, Elaine Tabers who was the wife of Virgie’s brother, Melvin Tabers.
Anna Nicole Smith carried out her schooling at Durkee Elementary School, Houston. Her intermediate schooling was done at Aldine intermediate School, Houston. When Anna was in the 9th grade of school, she was sent to live with Kay Beall, Virgie’s younger sister, who lived in Mexia, Texas. Anna joined the Mexia High School there and continued her studies. She later stopped further schooling as she failed her freshman year at school.
Anna Nicole Smith then started working as a waitress at Jim’s Krispy Fried Chicken in Mexia. Later Anna got married to Billy Wayne Smith who was a cook at the same restaurant where Anna worked as a waitress. She gave birth to a baby boy the year following her marriage and the boy was named as Daniel Wayne Smith. After this the couple separated and she moved back to Houston with her one year old son. On February 3rd, 1993, an official divorce was issued to the couple. At her initial stages of divorced life at Houston, Anna Nicole Smith worked with Wal Mart and later as a waitress at Red Lobster. It was after these jobs she became an exotic dancer. In the year 1991, she took up modeling and also took voice lessons. In the month of October of the same year, she saw an audition ad given for Playboy Magazine.
Playboy and Career in Modeling:
She was selected by Hugh Hefner and was to appear on the cover page of the Playboy Magazine’s March, 1992 issue. It was after this her career progressed unbelievably. In the year of 1993, she modeled for a Swedish Clothing company for lingerie. These were made big posters and were put up in Sweden and Norway and this became a big issue in the media.
Marriage to Marshall: While Anna was performing at a Strip club in Houston, she met the elderly oil business billionaire J. Marshall and their relationship ended up in marriage in the year 1997. This act of marriage developed many gossips claiming that Smith married him for his money.
In the year 2007, smith was found dead at a hotel room in Florida. Her death was later ruled out as an accidental drug overdose case.
