Have You Heard of Orovo?

There is a new anti-oxidant and weight loss product on the market called Orovo. This dietary supplement contains 10 so-called super foods that were recommended for anti-aging and general health by Dr. Nicholas Perricone. Dr. Perricone was featured on Oprah’s website as an expert in anti aging.

The makers of Orovo just decided to combine these ingredients in a single product and make it available for sale. The company distributing the product is an MLM company, but if you do not whish to partake in that, there are ways to get the supplement at a discount anyway.

The ten super foods are the following: anything related to garlic and onions for their anti-oxidant properties; barley for it is high in fiber; Buckwheat for it is high in protein and amino acids; lentils and beans, again for anti oxidants; peppers for vitamin C and other anti oxidants; nuts and other seeds; sprouts basically of any kind; and yogurt and kefir for beneficial bacteria and high calcium content.

The fallout from the sub-prime fiasco continues. People who managed to get themselves in a situation where they have taken off a bigger bite than they could chew ended up ruining their credit. If you are one of these people, you might want to consider a credit repair service.

Dish Network Better Than Cable

See the problem is that cable has been around for a lot longer than satellite dish companies. They are sort of the big dinosaurs of their industry. People are still a lot more comfortable about calling the cable company when they move, than calling the dish company and have something installed on their roofs, or god forbid, having to do it themselves.

But if you don’t mind going out on limb, the dish network deal is a better one. Usually, you get a lot more channels, more doodads than you do with cable, and the deals tend to be better.

Say, you opt to go with a Dish Network satellite tv solution. Since they are still kind of trying to educate the public about their product, they are eager for your business. This is a good thing, since you can get biggest bang for your buck this way. They give away the first three months for free. The best you can do with your local cable company is maybe a discount for the first couple of months.

They also tend to throw in a lot more channels and HD premium channels are no exception. You will definitely get more channels than you can watch on a regular basis. But if you don’t have the time, but you do have the burning desire to watch a particular show, they also giving away high-capacity DVRs (digital video recorder) away. Think of DVRs as a sophisticated VCRs. You don’t program the recording by time and channel, though. You get to look up your favorite TV show and the device takes care of the rest. If they change the lineup for some reason, the DVR gets notified and makes adjustments accordingly.

All in all the Dish Network offer is far better than anything your local cable company may offer you. Do the right thing, and at least educate yourself about your options.

College Application Essays

College application essays are required if you want to continue your education after high school. It is a way for the admission office to get to know you better without having to meet you in person.

It is hard to tell how much of these college application essays really matter. It probably depends on the school you are applying to. Some schools may read every word of every essay, while others just want to know if you are even willing to go to the trouble. Since there is no way to gauge the importance of these submissions, it is good pactice to your best.

There are companies that specialize in reviewing and advising future college students on their application essays for a fee. While you are still required to write your essay yourself, it is nice to have some one with a lot of experience to take a look at your work, and give you some feedback.

It is probably a wise investment to take advantage of such a service to make sure you are putting your best foot forward.

Tennis Shoes by New Balance

New Balance is one of the more established shoe companies in the world that has been well known about making great tennis shoes.

While Nike and other major shoe manufactures have been taking their manufacturing operations overseas to places like China, India or Indonesia, New Balance has been taking a whole other approach. See, even if your product relies on low cost labor to stay profitable, there is a way to approach the problem form another angle and achieve the same goals in terms of cost of manufacturing. The reason is that the problem isn’t about low cost labor, but it is about the age old thing of keeping costs low to make more money. The same goal can be achieved to by building a business model around automation, which New Balance has done very well. This way they get to keep manufacturing costs low and stay competitive and the related jobs in the country. As far as I am concerned, they are modern-day American heroes that is especially neat considering the corporate scandals the newspapers seem to be constantly be filled with.

But keeping costs low while making such sought after products such as men’s tennis shoes through automation is no small feat, because it is not without risk. See, when Nike and the like decide that they want to cut production back, all they have to do is to close a plant in China (with very little regard to what effect that might have on the people there, I might add). If you have just invested several million dollars into a state-of-the-art manufacturing line up front, you cannot afford to cut production back, not to mention that you had to spend the money ahead of time. It is indeed very risky.

The great thing is that most sporting goods lend themselves to be made this way such as babolat rackets, but I could have named any other items.

IT Support and Computer Repair Like You’ve Never Seen It Before

I have been around computers for quite a while now, as a matter of fact, I am working full time as an Internet marketer, so I spend at least eight hours on the computer each day. Sometimes I spend even more, since there are a great lot of things that I need to do on the computer, but can’t take care of while at work.

I have used a lot of applications over the years, and especially when I am just getting to new a program, it would be nice to get some help. Now, online forums and the help you usually get form the maker of the product can be all right, but I found a company called BT that covers not only their own products, but that of other companies’ as well.

They have a way to see what you see on your computer called remote access technology, as long as you give them permission to do it, and can work the program as you are looking at what they are doing, so you can do the exact same thing later. I don’t think anybody else is doing this kind of PC help yet. If you have information to the contrary, leave a comment below this post, and I will review them as well.

But software help isn’t the only thing they can aid you with. The same way they can access your programs installed on your machine, they can also do computer repair if necessary. Did you just get a version of Vista newly installed on your machine, and not sure which side is up? They should be able to help.

One other thing that seems to be totally unique to BT’s service is that they will also help you with electronic equipment other than your computer. They will also help you out, if you have trouble figuring out your iPod or other hip gizmos.

I am not sure what the cost is for this service as of right now. You have to be an existing customer to take advantage of their expertise, and you have to be signed up for an account on the web with them. If anyone has any info as to the price of PC repair and help through BT, I would also like to ask you let me know in the comment section.

First of all, what is a domain name? Well, my site’s domain name is Tube108.com. You will need a domain name to have a website on the World Wide Web. Of course, there are free hosting services that will allow you to piggyback onto their own domain name. For instance, if you get a blog through WordPress.com, your domain name will be something like this: yourloginname.wordpress.com. This is fine if you are running a personal blog or the sort.

However, if you are running a business, it is really worth your while to do your own domain registration. It can help you with brand recognition and help you better rank for a particular keyword in the search engine results, just to mention a couple of the benefits.

It is a little technical to get your website up-and-running this way, but wherever you decide to register your domain, they usually have great, in-depth tutorials and phone support in case you get stuck.

Once you have a domain, you will need a place to host it. Here is an inexpensive place to do just that: website hosting.

As I said, they will walk you through this, but just to prepare you, I must say this: it takes a little bit of doing to link your registered domain name and your web hosting service. Better Care Homes Are Needed for the Elderly

Modern medicine is improving and allowing people to live longer. This has increased the number of people who need care at the dusk of their lives. Baby boomers are a huge generation in terms of their numbers. My father is one of them, and I am not looking forward to the time when we will have to make the decision which way to go. He is a cool guy, though. He wants to hear nothing about his kids taking care of him when he is not able to do it himself. He wants to go into a home.

Owners of senior care homes are at the beginning of a major boom that may be the biggest since fast food. One thing that will be of a major concern to me and to my brothers when the time comes to put the parents into the care of others that they are trustworthy, reliable and just all around good people. You just hear too many ugly stories about heartless people who abuse the elderly.
