Natalie Portman’s Biography

Natalie Portman was born in Jerusalem on June 9, 1981, to an artist mom and mddad, Portman moved toNew York when she was three. Raised on Long Island, she was detected by a modeling scout who signed her right there. Her modeling stint led to an audition for Luc Besson’s Leon (or The Professional, as it was called in the Usa). Due to her age (she was 12 when the cinema was cast), Portman was in the beginning declined for the lead lead of Mathilda, a chick who asks a contract killer(Jean Reno) to teach her as an assassin to avenge her brother’s death and falls for him in the process. In 2005, as the curtain finally sealed off on the Star Wars franchise with the release of Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Natalie Portman could be seen sans-hairdo as the lead in the graphic-novel adaptation V for Vendetta.
