An American actress born on 28th April, 1981, Jessica Marie Alba is very well known for her roles as an actress in a number of films like Sin City, Dark Angel, Into the Blue and Fantastic Four.

Early Life:

Born in Pomona, California, Jessica Alba was brought up in an Air-force family along with her actor brother Joshua who featured in the season finale of Dark Angel along with his sister Jessica Alba. Until the age of 17 years, Jessica Alba lived with her grand parents. Before settling back in California, their family was taken to different places like Biloxi, Mississippi and Texas. This was because of the air force career of her father.

Jessica Alba suffered multitude health problems in her childhood. She suffered with collapsed lungs twice, and had pneumonia for about 4-5 times, asthma and a cyst on her tonsils. These health problems of Jessica Alba resulted in isolation of her from other friends in school as very few people knew her because of her being hospitalized very often. After settling down in California, her health improved.

Career:

Since the age of five, Jessica Alba had a passion towards acting and this made her take up her first acting class at the young age of itself after which she was signed by an acting agent. Her first role was a very small role which she did in the year 1994 in a film called Camp Nowhere. A young Jessica Alba was later featured in a number of TV commercials for J.C. Penny etc. and also in independent films. She also was featured in a comedy series that was aired by Nickelodeon.

Her career progressed as she was featured in a number of films in the later years. Some of them are: Idle Hand a horror film, Sin city etc.

In the year 2006, the famous Playboy magazine featured on the cover page of the March issue and she was named among the magazine’s 25 Sexiest Celebrities. She was also named as the Sex Star of the year 2006 by the same magazine.

Personal Life:

Jessica Alba was featured in the film Dark Angel along with American actor Michael Weatherly, with whom she started dating in the year 2001. This relationship ended up in engagement and also later resulted in their break-up in the year 2003. After her break-up with Michael Weatherly, Jessica Alba dated Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia late in the year 2003. This was carried over for a very brief period. One year later her second date with Sergio Garcia, Jessica Alba started dating with Cash Warren. He was the assistant director for the film Fantastic Four. Jessica Alba’s relationship with him cropped up as she met him during the filming of Fantastic Four.

Religion:

Jessica Alba has a strict NO for the nudity clause in all her contracts. This may be because Jessica Alba was born to conservative parents. She strictly denies nude roles in her films saying that she is not interested in such roles.
